David Koeppel joined the anat. team in 2025, after more than 25 years of experience in communications and journalism in the New York City area. He provided strategic direction and media relations services in multiple high level communications roles, most recently at Manhattan University, and previously at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn,The New School, and CUNY Lehman College. In those roles, he led national communications and marketing strategies, telling compelling narratives in innovative ways that left a lasting impact.
As a journalist, David worked for many years as a contributor for The New York Times, covering workplace issues, business, education, and metropolitan breaking news. His work has been published in dozens of other publications, including New York Magazine, Fortune, Crain’s New York Business, The Points Guy, and Newsweek. David lives in Long Island City with his wife and six-pound chihuahua. He is a graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City.
