Lauren Mannerberg joined the Anat team in 2022, bringing years of experience in strategic communications from her background in government, politics, and advocacy. Before joining the firm, Lauren worked at the highest level of New York State government in the Governor’s press office, where she developed and implemented statewide messaging strategies in collaboration with various state agencies. Prior to that role, she worked for the Lieutenant Governor, establishing relationships with stakeholders—including constituents, elected officials, and the media—to promote New York State’s policies and initiatives across the state.
Lauren began her career in advocacy at the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA), one of New York’s largest labor unions, where she lobbied for workers’ rights. With expertise in political strategy, policy communications, and crisis management, Lauren takes a results-driven approach to her work. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from Rockefeller College at the University at Albany and a master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy.
