Georgette Jasen joined the anat. team in 2023, after a long career in journalism. She started at the Bergen Record in New Jersey and then spent more than 30 years as a reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal. She wrote about a variety of topics, was an editor in the Money & Investing section, contributed to two books and managed the production of several special sections. Georgette also worked in Columbia University’s Office of Public Affairs, writing for a print publication and the University’s website. She is now grateful for the opportunity to help support nonprofits doing important work in New York and beyond.


A native New Yorker, Georgette grew up in Queens and lives on the Upper West Side of
Manhattan.
