Erica López

Associate Vice President

Erica López joined anat. in 2026 as Associate Vice President, bringing more than 15 years of experience across journalism, public relations, philanthropy, and corporate communications to the firm’s Social Services practice area. Before joining anat., Erica launched Lalo Creative, her independent consultancy, where she supported mission‑driven organizations with narrative strategy. Previously, she worked agency‑side with brands and organizations, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Microsoft, and the global data‑for‑good initiative data.org.  She also led Latino market communications for Verizon. Erica began her career as a journalist, with bylines in the New York Daily News and production credits at ABC News — developing an instinct for the deeper story that still drives everything she does. Erica is an active member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association and The LAGRANT Foundation Alumni Advisory Committee. A proud Nuyorican and lifelong New Yorker, when she’s not deep in narrative strategy, she’s often chasing down a random historical fact, immersed in Puerto Rican culture, touching grass, or adventuring with her two young kids.
