Britney Trachtenberg joined the anat. Team in 2024. She was previously an Editorial Assistant for BQE Media, a newspaper group where she reported on community events in Queens and Brooklyn. Working as a Contributing Writer for The Knockturnal, an online publication that focuses on arts and cultural events in Manhattan, she interviewed cast members at red carpet events such as the season five red carpet premiere of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the premiere of Nimona. She also worked as the Poetry Managing Editor at Chaotic Merge Magazine, where she supervised a team of editors to ensure the review of poems weekly and determine eligibility for bi-annual publication.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College in 2024, with a major in English and a minor in writing. During college, Britney worked as a Reporter and News Editor for the
college’s newspaper, The Knight News, in 2022 and 2023. She also served as President of the Utopia Parkway Literary Journal, which publishes students’ creative work. Britney enjoys theater as well. In her work as a Theater Teacher at the Port Washington Teen Center, she supervised high school students in learning acting techniques. She lives in Great Neck, Long Island.
