Nicole Barsamian is a seasoned communications professional with expertise as a writer, director, producer, editor, creative director, storyteller and marketing strategist. Nicole strives to deliver clear, compelling messages and utilize communication tools and storytelling to impact lives and create positive change.
Over the span of her career, Nicole has developed brand identities, produced video, print and web content, and led national and grassroots marketing and communication campaigns for some of the country’s leading foundations, corporations and non-profit organizations, including: The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; Nathan Cummings Foundation; Benedict Silverman Foundation; National Alliance on Mental Illness; Johnson & Johnson; Janssen Pharmaceuticals; National Minority AIDS Council; The Reading Institute; Coalition Against Trafficking in Women; the National Kidney Foundation, Fund for Armenian Relief, the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Association of School Nurses.
Prior to forming Barsamian Communication, Nicole was a Senior Vice President at Cohn & Wolfe and Nelson Communications. She began her career at Ogilvy Public Relations in both the Washington, DC and New York City offices.
Nicole is a graduate of The American University in Washington, DC and holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from New York University. She also studied at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.
